Have you ever experienced a scenario in which it was obvious that no one wanted to help you? We recently stayed at the Sheraton Vistana in Orlando and had this experience. Upon arrival we were not greeted. We stood in at the counter to check in and felt like no one wanted to do their job. We ran into a reservation issue and had a discrepancy with our check out date. We were told to resolve the issue the next morning at the concierge desk. The following morning the concierge told us that they couldn’t help us and we needed to see the check in desk. We went back to the check in desk and two of the three check in clerks completely ignored us. We stood and waited for the third clerk to finish checking in other guests. When she was done she was clearly annoyed that the other two clerks had not helped us and her attitude reflected her frustration. We were told that she couldn’t help us and we would have to check with the timeshare sales team in the sales center or we could just go online and make a new reservation. The timeshare sales team told us they would be more than happy to help us but we would have to buy a $21,000 timeshare before they could help us. I couldn’t be anymore disappointed and frustrated with the Sheraton Vistana staff and the Marriott Vacation sales team. An error was made with our reservation and we did not get any assistance. This was an over promise and under deliver scenario of which I am sure is not up to par with Marriott/Sheraton standards. The property was nice but the customer service was poor. Read less

If I could give zero stars, I would Please, please, PLEASE - NEVER buy a timeshare from Vistana/Marriott unless you enjoy setting your money on fire and watching it burn slowly year after year. I paid tens of thousands of dollars (yes, around $30,000!) just for the privilege of booking ONE week of vacation a year. And guess what? That was only the beginning of the financial nightmare. Add in the $2,000+ in annual maintenance and club fees, and suddenly that “dream vacation investment” starts looking more like a lifetime financial trap. And the worst part? When you eventually realize it’s not worth it - like I did - you’ll find out you’re basically stuck forever. Trying to sell it? Good luck. I’ve tried multiple times, through multiple channels, and all I’ve gotten is silence, scams, and frustration. There’s practically no resale market, no easy exit, and no sympathy from anyone who sold it to you in the first place. I honestly wish someone had shaken me by the shoulders and warned me before I signed anything: Do NOT do this!! Not even if it seems like a great deal at the presentation. Not even if the salesperson promises the moon. Once you’re in, you're in, and your bank account is doomed. Believe me… I tried to get out. I really did. 😞😞 Read less

Worthless resort, zero flexibility and accommodation for dad and a 3 year old. They are even coy with their remarks and smile when you voice frustrations. Asked to speak to manager and nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE
