Where is it

In North Lake Tahoe, close to Diamond Peak Ski Resort and Incline Village. Door to Slope Complimentary ski shuttles to Diamond Peak every 30 minutes.

374 rooms on 12 floors in the main tower of guestrooms with 3 lifts. All with air conditioning, 65" HDTV, iHome stereo, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board, safe, hairdryer. deluxe bathroom amenities, and coffee-making facilities.

Standard Rooms have resort views, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Balcony Rooms offer resort views from the private balcony, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Patio Rooms offer easy pool access from the walk-out terrace space, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 people.

Deluxe Rooms are located in the main tower and are larger in size, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

King Sofa Bed Rooms offer resort views, with 1 king-size bed plus a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 people.

Family Suites offer resort views, and feature a seating area at a bay window, 1 king-size bed, and bunk beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children.

Sugar Pine Junior Suites offer resort views, a spacious living area, and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

One Bedroom Suites offer resort views and feature a separate living room, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 people.

PLEASE NOTE: THE RESORT HAS BEGUN A REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO ENHANCE THE GUEST EXPERIENCE, EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH LATE 2027.

The first phase of enhancements will focus on the resort’s South Parcel, which will be closed to guests throughout this period. The South Parcel includes the resort’s private beach on Lake Tahoe, beach restaurants and bars, Lakeside Ballroom, and Lakeside Cottages.


While the South Parcel is closed, guests will still have the opportunity to enjoy Lake Tahoe. As part of the resort fee, guests will have access to two restricted local beaches: Incline Beach and Burnt Cedar Beach. Access ticket must be collected at the concierge desk. A complimentary daily shuttle will be available to transport guests to and from these locations. Additionally, we will continue operating our complimentary kayaks and paddle boards throughout the summer. Shuttle service will be available for guests with confirmed activity reservations and reserved time slots.


Our partner, Lake Tahoe Luxury Boat Rentals, will continue to offer boat rentals, with transportation provided to and from the pier for confirmed bookings. All other areas of the North Parcel – including the main guest room tower, Stillwater Spa, fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor event venues, Grand Lodge Casino, Tahoe Adventures programming for the entire family, and dining outlets Osteria Sierra, Cutthroat’s Saloon, Tahoe Provisions, and Tahoe-to-Go – will remain fully operational during this time.

This is a quality hotel on Lake Tahoe. Despite the main building being older, the rooms are modern and the outdoor activities make up for this. The service was very good at this hotel - champagne on arrival, breakfast for 2 included with Hyatt Prive rates, various free activities (archery, yoga, cooking classes, kids crafts, etc.), and excellent restaurants. We were staying during President's Day weekend which was very busy but the hotel provided extra children's events (movie nights, bounce house, smores by the fire pit, etc.). The ski shuttle to Diamond Peak was very convenient as was the ski valet at the entrance. It snowed heavily while we were there so some of the outdoor hikes and activities were canceled. The hotel did an excellent job of maintaining service and staffing despite employees not being able to get to work as roads were closed. I believe they had some of their staff staying overnight at the hotel. The valet car parking also helped with clearing snow off our vehicle which made a big difference when departing as we had 2-3 feet of snow on it! Tip: make sure to book the activities in advance as they can fill up especially during busy holiday times! Read less

Clean and classy. Loved the pool. Casino was fun but they should open up more tables on weekends so there is less wait time to gamble with your friends

Always a great experience here. Definitely a top favorite for us! I cannot say how much we love it here- although the main beach is closed because of renovation , another is available.

We had a great stay at the Hyatt—friendly and attentive staff, a clean and comfortable environment, and a very convenient location with easy access to Diamond Peak Ski Resort. Kids love the marshmallows!
