Built in 1957, Mammoth Mountain Inn was Mammoth's first ski-resort accommodation and the only slope-side hotel at Mammoth's Main Lodge. Today it offers activities year round — in summer there's hiking, biking and outdoor adventures, and in winter it's a core skiers' and snowboarders' paradise, with the ultimate entry point to the slopes. Ski to the hotel at the end of the day and you can soon be blowing the steam off your hot toddy. Take a dip in the outdoor pool or one of the indoor or outdoor hot tubs. The Yodler dining terrace is the ideal place for a light snack on a sunny day and the great après-ski atmosphere in the Dry Creek Lounge is further enhanced by regular live music.

Hotel was well featured, pleasant, and well staffed with friendly people.

We recently stayed in a room in Mammoth Mountain Inn with two other friends. The shower had many odd spots and the shower valve was old, outdated, and impossible to use. Our room was cramped, as well as the phone not working for one night of our stay. The cabinets were broken, with one drawer falling out upon us opening it. Our room was also on the same floor as the pool, which led to a chemical/chlorine smell in our room. The worst part was that the window had no mosquito net, so if you are traveling with children don't stay here, or at least don't open the window. Finally. there was no AC and we had no control over the temperature, so it felt like a sauna. The whole room was ver dirty, so I would not recommend. The location was decent, but still not worth it for the room itself. The Atmosphere was horrible, with plenty of weird noises, and screaming and yelling coming from a room next to us. This is not worth it for the amount of money you pay.

A genuine exchange with Ben and Brenda. We let them know what type of room we wanted for our 25th anniversary. They listened and delivered. A super experience. Thank you.
