Horrible experience for me and my wife. Problems with the room right away that had us waiting around in the room for maintenance to show up for an hour and a half. No one at the front desk will answer the phone when calling from the room so you have to walk down stairs anytime you need something from them. Kids running around in the hallway yelling and screaming for hours and banging on doors then running away. Staff did nothing about the kids except tell us " we are aware" and that was told to us both nights because this was happening both nights we stayed there. The staff did nothing even after pointing out the kids to them in the front lobby. Would not recommend for a couples getaway. Would not have had such a bad experience if the staff would have been more helpful with the kids or quicker to fix the room issues right after check in. The other thing we did not like is the size of the room was not as advertised online we got what had to be the smallest room they have and the sleeper sofa could not open due to the room size and was not set up to be used for watching TV.

Wonderful visit!

This was our first time at North Conway Grand Hotel and we loved it. The bar staff were very friendly. The pools were warm. We especially loved the "adult only" time at the pool.

We stayed 2 nights during late March with our 2 year old toddler. We were so impressed by the experience! It definitely felt like a great value.
There’s so much at the hotel designed with kids in mind. As soon as you walk into the lobby your kids will spot the larger-than-life stuffed/plush moose, bear, and wolves. My toddler couldn’t resist giving them each a hug each time we passed them. The fireplace in the lobby was a great spot to sit and warm up while thumbing through one of the many books sitting out. And we enjoyed the complimentary cocoa, cookies, and cold cider each afternoon.
In the room, we appreciated that the pull-out soda bed was already made, all we had to do was flip it down and it was ready to go. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. I loved that the room had a proper mini fridge with a separate freezer compartment, rather than just a beverage cooler. And the robes were super comfortable and convenient to wear down to the pool - they even had a child sized robe for us that my toddler could wear! Having a bath tub was also a convenient feature if you’re traveling with young kids.
We had so much fun swimming in the heated indoor pool. The shallow end was 3 ft deep, so my daughter was just able to stand up on her own which she enjoyed. There’s also a small shallow area by the steps that even younger toddlers would be able to splash around in. Plenty of people were also enjoying the heated outdoor pool, but we stayed inside since the outside air was quite cold during our stay. We did briefly visit the playground which was well kept and had equipment for both toddlers and slightly older kids.
We’ll definitely be back!

Great Hotel for Families

The hotel is family friendly with multiple amenities. It's clean throughout. Has a good fitness area. Has warm pools and hot tubs, both inside and out. And has a better than average breakfast buffet with friendly staff.
Fantastic Family Spot

Such an amazing family experience! We loved all that there was to do at the hotel. Arcade, pools, hot tubs, air hockey, movies, a talking moose, giant stuffy statues, interactive art, complimentary coffee etc.
Spa robes for the whole family even! We had so much fun and rested so well too.
