The hotel

The adult-only Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa offers a truly serene atmosphere in idyllic island surrounds. Beach Villas and Water Villas are scattered around the island, allowing for peace and tranquility aplenty. Upgrade to a Overwater Villa with Swirl Pool and you’ll have your own private outdoor spa bathtub. Down at the beach is an oceanfront pool and well-being area, aptly named as you’ll feel very well indeed here. You can also spoil yourself to a treatment or two at the Spa Cenvaree, a blissful sanctuary offering Thai massage as well as ancient Ayurvedic treatments to banish any lingering cares. With the resort in such a great location there's a plethora of stunning scuba diving sites, amongst the Maldives’ most sought-after spots, reached within 20 minutes by dhoni. There’s also snorkelling and both non-motorised and motorised water sports to tempt you. Island dining is a treat at the Centara with several superb restaurants to choose from. Oceans Restaurant serves International, Asian and daily themed buffets while Al Khaimah features an authentic Bedouin tent with Middle Eastern-style grilled meats to feast on and Arabic delights. Alternatively, dine Italian style at La Brezza or on Thai fare at Suan Bua, two speciality restaurants that overlook the beachfront pool. Overwater Viu Bar is one of the highlights of the resort and deservedly so, its circular shape and oversized hammock seating affording unobstructed ocean views. There’s also a very popular pool bar to while away an hour or two, sipping on exotic cocktails.

On Giraavaru Island in Maldives' North Malé Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 15–20 minutes by speedboat.

Half Board Plus: includes International breakfast at Oceans Restaurant. Dinner options at: buffet at Oceans Restaurant or dine-around 3-course set menu at Suan Bua, La Brezza or Al Khaimah. Includes 2 drinks per person during dinner, one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic.

Full Board plus: includes International breakfast at Oceans Restaurant. Dine around lunch and dinner options with buffet or 3-course set menu. Includes 2 drinks per person during lunch and dinner, one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic.

Premium All-inclusive Dine Around: includes International breakfast at Oceans Restaurant. Dine around lunch and dinner options with buffet or 3-course set menu. Beverages available from the premium beverage menu which consist of international and premium pouring brands, wines (red, white, and sparkling), beer, alcoholic beverages and a selection of cocktails, as well as still water, soft drinks, specialty coffee (cappuccino, espresso, latte), tea selection and chilled juice. Daily replenished mini-bar service including a selection of snacks, soft drinks and mixers, mineral water, chocolates, and beer. House beverages and a selection from the In-Villa menu available 23:00pm - 06:00am. Afternoon tea with pastries and sandwiches. Sundowners canapés. Just had an amazing 11 nights here. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you, always saying hello with a smile. We went premium all inclusive and chose to book ahead for the restaurants for dinner and lunch, the buffet was fine for breakfast and plenty of selection at other meal times, we just enjoyed the food and service at the restaurants. Worth mentioning Jo, Shaa, Arif, Abhl,Ya Ya ,Matley and Mama the omelette guy all helped to make our stay enjoyable. The dive team were great (I can’t remember all their names) we went on three excursions with them and swam with Manta rays, Sting rays, turtles and Nurse sharks, unforgettable life experiences! It’s worth mentioning this island is only 20 minutes from Male which makes a quick and easy transfer from the airport but it does mean that it’s not a remote island in the middle of nowhere and there are a few industrial ships around and some construction work on an island nearby. This didn’t spoil our holiday and is not viewable from every direction but if you are expecting the remote desert island isolation it might be initially a disappointment if you have not done your research, however on balance, this was outweighed by the service, staff, facilities, and the nature of the very small island positioned over beautiful coral reef (our over water villa had steps straight into crystal clear blue water where we enjoyed snorkelling most days and mornings watching the most fascinating underwater life). The sunset yoga sessions were incredibly relaxing and beautiful, while the morning yoga with singing bowls was one of the most peaceful experiences we’ve had. The TRX workouts were energetic and well-balanced for different fitness levels, and the towel folding class was fun and surprisingly creative.
