It was a wonderful stay. The rooms are well-maintained and spotless, and the hotel staff are professional and friendly. However, the pool area could use more staff, better cleanliness in certain areas, and there was a missed revenue opportunity in taking drink and food orders—but a beautiful setting and location.

It was very busy for a conference but the service was still friendly and on top of things. I also had access to another private lounge with complimentary food and beverages, which was a nice unanticipated treat. I intend to stay again this coming January for the same conference and would recommend it to others. Read less

Our first visit to Fairmont Chateau Whistler was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the incredible team who made every moment feel seamless and special. Before we even arrived, Jonathan from the Concierge team went above and beyond to help us plan our trip. His thoughtful recommendations and prompt responses made us feel well-prepared and genuinely cared for. Upon arrival, Indigo at reception welcomed us with calm professionalism and patience. As first-time guests, we had plenty of questions, and she took the time to explain everything clearly, making us feel instantly at ease. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly our dining experience at The Grill Room. Robert, our server, was exceptional. Attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu. The tomato soup was a theatrical delight and tasted even better than it looked. The mushrooms in the soup were rich and flavourful, and the desserts were absolutely divine, elegant, indulgent, and the perfect ending to a memorable meal. Fairmont Chateau Whistler combines warm hospitality with refined luxury and unforgettable dining. We left feeling pampered, satisfied, and already dreaming of our next trip. Read less

We were in a Junior Valley Suite for three nights at this property. The surroundings are gorgeous, and the hotel is a convenient walk to the village. Though this property feels slightly off-brand compared to the 15+ Fairmonts we’ve stayed at. The lobby & public spaces are dated, and the service levels just okay. Be aware that the rooms don’t completely resemble pictures online - particularly the bathrooms. Our bathroom was smaller and outdated. There are only four elevators, which meant we needed to que in line every time we went to our room. The spa is excellent, as is the nightly live music in the bar. While nothing was terribly amiss, it was all a bit mediocre, which is unusual for the Fairmont brand. Read less
