An amazing luxury experience in every regard. Upgraded to a spacious 1 bedroom suite. Unfortunately, we could only stay three days this time, but we will be back!

This was our 9th trip to Bali, and while the Grand Hyatt Bali has fantastic family facilities, including an excellent pool slide and kids club that our children loved, the overall experience was not ideal. Breakfast was acceptable, however staff repeatedly asked us to sign breakfast bills throughout our stay despite us having prepaid at check-in, which became frustrating and unnecessary. The transport staff outside the hotel were also disappointing, regularly approaching guests, asking where they were going, and claiming there was a minimum fare of 500,000 IDR for a Blue Bird taxi. When questioned, the explanation seemed to change, and from our experience this information was completely inaccurate. There was also no available pool lounges on multiple days, making it difficult to base ourselves somewhere and order food/ drinks. Having visited Bali many times and stayed at numerous hotels, we have never encountered this issue elsewhere. While the resort itself is beautiful and very family-friendly, these ongoing issues detracted from what would otherwise have been an enjoyable stay. Read less

I had an exceptional stay at Grand Hyatt Bali hotel and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a well-rounded, high-quality experience. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and proactive—always ready to assist with a genuine smile. Small details, like quick responses to requests and personalized touches, made a noticeable difference and elevated the entire stay. On my daughter's birthday, they gave her a cake, flowers and a small gift! My daughter was very happy. Special mention to the staff Urip, Narita and Asraf who always greeted us with a smile and always ready to help us! The overall vibe of the hotel strikes a great balance between comfort and sophistication. The ambiance is stylish yet relaxing, with thoughtfully designed spaces that feel welcoming rather than overly formal. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind effortlessly after a long day. Food was also a standout. The dining options offered a great variety, and the quality exceeded expectations. Breakfast was especially impressive, with fresh ingredients and a well-curated selection that caters to different preferences. Overall, this hotel delivers strongly across all the key areas—service, location, atmosphere, and food. It’s a place I would gladly return to. Read less

Apart from the ‘check in’ process which packed warmth and engagement and a mix up at a restaurant thinking I had booked out - my second day there- I can’t speak highly enough of the resort - everything was of a high standard and there were some exceptional staff members . The only minor criticism I have is if you are the 5 night package you will have minimal opportunity to enjoy a meal at Nampu- the Japanese restaurant- it is booked out for all sessions for at least 6 days in advance . Salsa Verde offers authentic Italian cuisine and it is on the mark- Garden Cafe is the choice for many families with young children. If you’re seeking a quiet venue for breakfast then Salsa Verde - it will s limited in menu however a reasonable choice, Garden Cafe for more choice however can become very busy. The guys servicing refreshments around the main pool area are fantastic - just remember to sign your bill before leaving the area. On my visit it was majority of guests wearing the red all inclusive ribbon bracelet and a huge family contingent. Overall an excellent farewell to Bali after visiting for nearly 30 yrs Read less
