Loved our recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Kauai. This was our second time visiting the island and staying at this resort. The resort was full during our stay, but it never felt crowded. We were always able to find seating near the pool or lagoon, never had an issue with finding parking, etc...We stayed in a Club room and loved having access to the Grand Club for breakfast and snacks throughout the day. He helped save our family a lot of money since food on the islands and going out to eat is super expensive. We had a room on the first floor and it was so nice with kids, being able to walk right out to the pool areas. The pool complex is great and the lagoon is fun for the younger kids who don't love the waves in the ocean. The beach onsite isn't suitable for children, but there is a great beach just a mile or so down the road that is great for everyone. Read less

This is a gorgeous hotel and the pool system is wonderful, particularly for the kids. We had an ocean view which was fabulous. The room was a little dated but spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. We really liked the room key system which was an armband with the key in the band. It made it very easy!

Loved everything about the Hyatt Kauai. Donna who works by the pool was awesome. From the moment of entrance onto the property, we were treated like loved family members. Better than the Ritz and Four Seasons. Maybe because of the Aloha spirit too. Kudos to the gal who checked us in who offered us an oceanview upgrade for a small fee. What a deal… Read more

Better than the Ritz and Four Seasons. Maybe because of the Aloha spirit too. Kudos to the gal who checked us in who offered us an oceanview upgrade for a small fee. What a deal even though we opted to be closer to the pool instead. We could have every vacation at a Hyatt like this one. Hyatt Kauai is extra special. Read less

This is by far the most beautiful and well pointed Resort we have ever stayed at. Location was excellent. So much to do here one could stay here at the resort and never leave. Customer service was over the top. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking all the pools and a partial view of the ocean. Before our 10 days were over, I was already contemplating when and how I can return to this beautiful place on such a gorgeous island! Kudos to the staff for their unwavering customer service, especially Atela at the front desk and Mario at the valet. Too many other wonderful employees that we can't even count there were so many that were good to us! Our trip was for healing from the loss of my husband and my daughters' father. It did just that and we came back home renewed. Don't hesitate to stay here. Read less
