I stayed at the Hilton in Whistler with my daughters, and we had a wonderful experience. Whistler is one of my favorite destinations. I love coming here for snowboarding in the winter and biking in the summer. The Hilton is also one of my favorite hotels in Whistler, and this stay was another great one. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well prepared. It made us feel relaxed right away. The staff were all so polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed the breakfast with many fresh and delicious options. Dining at the hotel was also a great experience, and the in-room dining was convenient and tasty. Room service arrived quickly and everything was nicely presented. We also loved the spa and the pool. The spa was relaxing and well maintained, and the pool was clean and enjoyable for me and my daughters. It was a perfect way to unwind. Overall, the service was wonderful. Everyone made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We truly appreciated the hospitality and had a very pleasant stay. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel. The level of service has declined significantly. At checkin, a once friendly, warm and welcoming staff has been replaced by people who only going trough the motions. Similar is the case in other parts of the hotel. For example, the restaurant is now at least double in size and at breakfast the staff has been reduced to the bare minimum. While table service is apparently an option, it is basically nonexistent. One is lucky if someone appears to drop a pot of coffee on the table. Otherwise, plan on everything else being self serve. Someone will appear at the end of the meal to present the bill and posture for a tip even though there was no service during the meal. Needless to say, we will no longer be returning guests. Some wonderful things about the hotel first: very friendly cleaning ladies, bell service is helpful, concierge is friendly! Hot chocolate after skiing is fantastic. It's clean, location is wonderful and we love the ski valet service. However I'm still in this hotel as I write the review (Dec 30) and there are a few things that made me lower my rating; 1. We're in a room facing the pool and on Dec 28, Sun, around 1:30AM, Cinnamon Bear blasted music at a high volume for about 3-5 songs! We're in the 3rd floor, our window was closed, yet it was so loud and disruptive we had a hard time sleeping after that, ruining some morning plans. 2. Currently experiencing severe noise disturbances from the room directly above ours (469) for two consecutive nights now, constant heavy footsteps and repeated loud impacts well past quiet hours, to the point it sounded like a party overhead. I had to call front desk finally at 4AM due to how disruptive this was to our sleep since white noise cant block vibrations. The response was dismissive and indifferent, no sympathy, and no attempt to offer reassurance. I brought it up to FD staff the next morning to be met with the same response. I am not requesting a room change since I'm aware it's a sold out week. However, the absence of basic empathy and guest focused service was SO shocking and disappointing for a property that presents itself as higher end. Noise issues happens, but being repeatedly brushed off when reporting a legitimate overnight disturbance should NOT. 3. A small complaint, I called room service for a pot of coffee + desserts at 5:30PM to be told "We can't make a pot coffee for you, it means we'll have to brew a full 5litre for your one pot". It felt like I had to apologize for wanting to order something offered at their menu, at a reasonable time. I won't mention room size/price since those are outside of staff control, but it has not been a comfortable stay so far. It's our first time in this hotel which we chose for location and from family recommendation, I think never again. Read less

The location is very convenient for the ski as you don’t need to rely upon shuttle or bus to reach the Whisler Village Gondola. During peak ski seasons, rooms in Hilton Whistler sold out quickly, so you may want to book earlier if you have already made the ski plan. We stayed at a 2-queen room during the Christmas season. We have found the room to be spacious and clean, with a nice desk and TV in the room, and attached to a bathroom with a tub and a shower. The hotel has a restaurant Cinnamon Bear. We have ordered whole Dungeness Crab and Whild BC Salmon. The food is good, though the price is on the expensive side. We have found ample activities to entertain the kids. There are a game room (with foosball, Ping-Pong table, Wii game, some old arcade games (free), and a decorate your own gingerbread activities. Overall, the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa is a good hotel to stay for a Whistler Skii vacation. Read less
