The hotel

The gorgeous gardens and pools at Krabi La Playa Resort provide a great getaway, offering up endless hours of relaxation. One of the resort’s swimming pool is pretty traditional, a series of interconnecting pools accompanied by sunbeds, poolside dining, and swim-up bar with the other ‘Emerald Pool’ is something a bit different. Both stretch right up to some of the hotel’s renovated rooms and suites, allowing guests to step right into the water from their terrace. The two acre gardens are just as inviting, with their own bar and seating spots. And, if that’s not quite enough space to relax, you could always head to the sands of Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara beaches, 150 meters away, with shopping, dining and nightlife nearby.

La Playa resort is a friendly hotel whose staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are big with a very big bed. The hotel is very clean and rooms are cleaned daily. The pool area is lovely. It is central for everything.

A fantastic 15 days. The staff was wonderful. A special thank you to the girls at reception and to Sak at the restaurant. A few small repairs need to be done to room 314 (entry door hard to close or open, balcony door not closing properly..) Apart from that, I strongly recommend this hotel. The location is good. Close to the sea and the shops.
