The hotel

The gorgeous gardens and pools at Krabi La Playa Resort provide a great getaway, offering up endless hours of relaxation. One of the resort’s swimming pool is pretty traditional, a series of interconnecting pools accompanied by sunbeds, poolside dining, and swim-up bar with the other ‘Emerald Pool’ is something a bit different. Both stretch right up to some of the hotel’s renovated rooms and suites, allowing guests to step right into the water from their terrace. The two acre gardens are just as inviting, with their own bar and seating spots. And, if that’s not quite enough space to relax, you could always head to the sands of Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara beaches, 150 meters away, with shopping, dining and nightlife nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Krabi La Playa Resort. Everything was great, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Nina was especially so nice, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. She really made our experience even better. We would definitely come back!

I was very impressed with my solo stay here. The reception staff kindly chose a room close to them for me because of my age, which made me feel safe and well cared for. I was especially impressed by Nina, who talked with me every day. It was wonderful to have someone to chat with, and I never felt lonely. During my stay, I joined the hotel activities, including baking classes, and there were activities for me to enjoy every day, so I never felt bored. In addition, the dinners served at the hotel every evening were delicious, with generous portions and great attention to detail. All of the staff made me feel warm and welcomed. Staying here felt like living the dream I had always imagined for my later years. Read less

The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and we especially loved the pool area which was absolutely stunning. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the Krabi weather. A big thank you to the staff as well - everyone was so kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our stay 🤍 We also really enjoyed the food and overall experience at the resort. The atmosphere was so relaxing with calm vibes all around. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staffs over there also very friendly and welcoming. The location is also very convenient — close to Ao Nang Beach and the Ao Nang night market, so we could easily walk around and explore the streets nearby. The hotel also arranged a few activities for guests, although we didn’t manage to join them this time. Definitely a place we would love to stay at again whenever we visit Krabi in the future 🤍 Read less

Great Location very close to everything but set back so quiet with lovely pool area. We did have dinner one evening and it was absolutely amazing, so definitely try and have one evening meal there. Breakfast is a buffet and has all essentials but do not expect a full English. Floor 5 rooms from 507 to 511 have lovely views. Lady in reception highly recommended to book your trips with she will match any price and she is there daily. We had massages in the on site spa which although more expensive then outside it still was very reasonable and in much more relaxing surroundings. Room was large with shower and bath, water temperature and pressure fluctuated constantly! 2 bottles of water left daily along with tea bags and coffee sachets. 7/11 shop 5 min walk to get milk for fridge and any essentials including brilliant Mosquito spray for 42bht. Go out back entrance by spa turn right and lots of laundry places 40bht per kg back in 24 hours. Only negative we arrived at 10am after travelling 19 hours and they would not let us have our room until 1pm even though they had lots of empty rooms and we offered to pay for early check in or upgrade! We were then refused 2 key cards as only allowed 1 per room and if you lose it you will be charged 200bht. I would recommend this hotel as it is a great price and good location with Night market 15min walk to the right and Monkey trail 20 min walk to left. Read less
