We really enjoyed this place, stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful, with state of art bathroom, quiet rooms and right in the city center. Many local restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Only con is that there is no breakfast available only a la cart which is not cheap. But there is Starbucks located in the lobby area. Gym and… Read more

Gym and pool are both great addition , gym is bigger then in most hotels. Definitely recommend this place . Read less

We are still waiting nearly a week later for our excessive $350 deposit but worse, we stayed less than 24 hours but were charged for two days of parking- $35 and another $20. That $55 is theft for less than one day. The attendant called us irresponsible for not knowing when they arbitrarily charge another day although the sign says $13. We will… Read more

I have been a Marriot/Starwood member since 1999. This is our 3rd trip to this hotel within the last 2 years, however, this trip we have experienced terrible service. Throughout the trip, housekeeping was a real issue. This initially started with minor problems. As it is now wintertime in Montreal, dirt residue from our boots were left on the floor. In addition, our dirty glasses and tissues have not been replenished, and the bed sheets have not been changed. On the third night, we went out the whole day from 6am to 2pm, and the room was not cleaned for the entire day. We stayed in the room from 2pm to 4pm and left the room without the do not disturb sign. When we came back at 7pm, the room was still not cleaned. We then called room service to request our room to be cleaned, and they replied saying that the housekeeping service had stopped. In response to this, we went down to the reception and complained to the front desk staff, who then called guest service manager HYUNJUN KIM. Mr. KIM replied with a condescending and sarcastic tone and kept on repeating that our room was not available for the housekeeping service's time. We replied that when our room had the do not disturb sign for 2 hours, they could have contacted us through the phone/messages to tell us our room was not available for them to clean. Overall, we found that Mr. KIM's responses were unprofessional and very rude, as we feel very insulted that he constantly tried to make a mockery out of us. However, they did provide us with new towels and tissue paper for the night. Read less

Breakfast ice-cold, potatoes made from tenderized hockey pucks, served in a cardboard box with wooden cutlery and the wrong coffee order.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel. Located very close to everything downtown. Decent price for what you get – if you don’t want lots amenities, there are other options. But we wanted to splurge, and the Sheraton was a good option that still had value. The pool/sauna was very nice. The restaurant was delicious, if not a bit overpriced. We appreciate… Read more

But we wanted to splurge, and the Sheraton was a good option that still had value. The pool/sauna was very nice. The restaurant was delicious, if not a bit overpriced. We appreciate that they had options cash-only folks – if you don’t have a credit card, you can leave a cash deposit. All the staff seemed quite experienced and prioritized your safety and comfort, and I appreciated the cameras and key-card systems in the elevators. A minor qualm – the cleaning service didn’t really dust, nor did they replace our dirty glasses. Read less
