The hotel

Where is it

Located on the North coast on the famed Ocho Rios Bay, 15-minutes from Dunn's River Falls. Transfer time from the airport: 1 hour and 30 minutes. Complimentary transfers included for stays of 4 nights or more (only applicable to/from Montego Bay Airport).

680 rooms on up to 14 floors with lifts in each block. Deluxe Resort View Rooms are located in the North Tower, these rooms feature either one king-size bed or two double beds, accommodating up to two adults and one infant, views overlooking the resort grounds or surrounding hotel property.

Pier 8 had the best service and one of the best meals I’ve had at a Palace Resort. The rooms are very nice. Pools are clean. All the staff are super friendly and helpful.

What truly made our trip stand out, though, was the exceptional service—especially from Stacey-Anne. She is hands down the best waitress we’ve ever had. Stacey-Anne was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect for us. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and always greeted us with such warmth and positivity. Service like hers is rare, and it made a huge difference in our overall experience. Moon Palace Jamaica is an absolute paradise -when you walk in the atmosphere is filled with the best smell almost like flowers and you are greeted with a cool towel, a rose and a welcome drink. I am a member and the Palace Elite team are absolutely awesome from Lou Lou to Diana, Martina and Vinroy. The housekeeping was phenomenal- not sure who did my room but they made the room up with balloons and rose petals- I was speechless. The turn down service was also special, Ms. Wendy and Mr. Krystal were also amazing. The room we had was a suite in the cabana building- absolute gem it was so nice seeing the cruise ships come in from our balcony. The buffet is one of a kind authentic Jamaican dishes- the service is excellent- the best server is Alicia- she is like family and always had my table ready. The best manager/supervisor of tat area is Tanesha- she light up the environment with her smile- she really goes out of her way. I would like to add a special note for chef Clayon at Pier 8- his cuisine was divine. I also want to note Chef Manesh at the Indian restaurant who also made our meal very special. The Spa is something very special the best spa palace resorts have out of all of their properties and the spa is the biggest on the island of Jamaica. I need to note the best valet her name is Rashonda- what a jewel she is - so professional and adhere to all of your needs. The massage ladies who we out of this world were Ms. Sophia, and Ms. Jodhi. The shows were amazing the server that took care of us at the shows was Ms. Jacqueline she is a shinning star. The entertainment team are the best- I had so much fun with all of them.
