We’ve stayed at Planet Hollywood a few times over the years. Unfortunately, they have slipped considerably on service.
- Check in: They have multiple kiosks in the lobby. Half appeared to be out of service. The technology didn’t work for most guests (including us) - so we were forced to the long line (20 mins or so at 5pm).
- Room: The room is fine. It’s basic and comfortable. No real complaints. The AC worked great. Bed was comfortable.
- Housekeeping: We asked for 2 extra pillows. They arrived promptly. We were here for 4 nights. The first day, no housekeeping service. I found someone in the hallway and they eventually sent someone at 7pm to replace our towels. The next day they came really late as well. And they took the 2 extra pillows? Even though we were staying 2 additional nights? Didn’t really understand that.
- Wifi: The resort charge includes WiFi for 2 devices. Warning though, once you sign in on two devices, that’s it. You can’t switch devices. It’s $14.95 per day for an additional device. Doesn’t reset at 24 hours as they told us. So just be prepared and plan for how to handle WiFi if you have multiple devices.
- Security/Front Desk: Of great concern was our experience with noise from the room next to ours. The first night there was yelling and screaming. We eventually called security and they calmed down. The second night it escalated. The yelling and screaming got worse and then we could clearly hear that it got physical. We called security four times over a few hours as it seemed to get worse and not better. They eventually seemed to evict the guests at 6am. When I went to the front desk to speak with a manager about how poorly it was handled, she didn’t seem to believe me. I’m guessing they get a lot of people who complain and try to get something free from them? I asked her to call security or check the tapes from our calls. We weren’t making this up and it was more than a noise complaint. She eventually did and then understood what happened. She waived the resort fee for 3 of our 4 nights. Wasn’t really adequate for two nights of no sleep - but whatever…
Anyway - I would avoid this hotel. It seems to be a frat house on the weekends. Rates can be very attractive but not sure it’s worth it. Last few visits we stayed at Aria. We’ll return there on our next visit. Planet Hollywood just isn’t what it used to be.

Everything was clean; the room was big. It was in the center of the strip so it was easy to get around. The walls of the hotel are pretty good, the only thing is that I can hear when our neighbors were using their shower. The workers were all really nice, especially LaTrica who helped me figure out my Caesars Rewards. I would stay here again.
