Our room in the middle of the north tower was fairly clean when we arrived but the facilities were in need of repair. Our bathroom sink barely turned on. The TV would not always work and we weren't even in the room that much! We saw house keeping twice - once after the first night and once after calling and requesting service after the 3rd night LATE in the day- even though we signed the card at checkin for housekeeping services. The gaming floor was clean but the games felt very tight compared to others on the strip. The restaurants and the pool were highlights. Although the pools lacked loungers and allowed people to "claim" a lounger for hours when they weren't even present at the pool. My wife said she felt invisible at the "resort" and not in a good way. We had family who said they will not stay at Planet Hollywood again and we now see why. Read less

Small, shallow pools, not enough beds for a hotel with over 3,000 rooms, no parasols for beds, everything is paid extra. They want to make you pay disgusting prices for cabanas with no drink included. Prices for drinks at the pool area are absolutely disgusting. Resort fees of $50 per night are even more disgusting. Location: Comfy beds. Quiet… Read more

Misleading “Renovated” Claim - Disappointing Stay ⭐⭐ (2/5 stars) Room Quality Issues I booked an Ultra Hip King Suite that was advertised as “renovated,” but this is highly misleading. The renovation was clearly done many years ago—likely a decade or more—and the room shows significant wear. The furniture looks aged and tired, while the carpeting and flooring are noticeably old and outdated. For a room marketed as “ultra hip” with “luxury bedding and designer touches”, the reality fell far short of expectations and was definitely overpriced for what you actually get.[tripadvisor +1] The Few Positives The bed and pillows were genuinely comfortable, which aligns with Planet Hollywood’s advertised “PHabulous Bed”. Everything in the room was clean, which I appreciated. The kiosk check-in process was smooth and efficient—no lengthy lines or waiting at the front desk. Having Starbucks easily accessible in the hotel helped offset an otherwise disappointing experience.[planethollywoodhotels +2] Dining Experience I ordered dinner to-go from PF Chang’s, and the food was mediocre at best—just OK, nothing special. Final Verdict I would not stay at Planet Hollywood again. The dated condition of the “renovated” rooms combined with the high prices make this a poor value proposition. I’d rather allocate my travel budget toward a much newer hotel where the amenities and room quality match what’s advertised. The prime Strip location doesn’t compensate for the misleading marketing and aging infrastructure. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Water issues, terrible check-in

Stayed 5 days. 2 days we had hot water, 2 days we had no hot water and for a full day we had no water at all. No shower. No sink. No flushing toilet. Check-in was terrible. Did the pre check-in thinking it would expedite the check-in process. Nope. Half of the kiosks were not working. Line took forever. It's criminal that you are charged resort… Read more

Did the pre check-in thinking it would expedite the check-in process. Nope. Half of the kiosks were not working. Line took forever. It's criminal that you are charged resort fees for days when you can't even enjoy a simple hot shower. Even my dumpy room at the Flamingo last year had hot water. This place has had bad reviews about water issues for years so clearly the property doesn't want to spend the money to address the problem. Ridiculous. Never again! Read less
