THe other hotels adjacent and across the street are a step above in stars but you save by staying here. Gym is good. Lobby is simple. Staff are friendly. Im not a fan of the amenities fees hotels charge these days and the Stanford is no different. Still the overall price was fair for the stay.

I stayed during RSA where rooms were $800+ a night. The room was an upgraded king with extra room. I was not impressed with the room. It smelled musty (for fellow mold sensitive people this was not a good hotel for me). The room was remodeled but still felt old and rather cheap. There is no closet and the hanging rack/drawers had limited storage space for clothes. The bathroom seemed dingy and there was mold in the caulk in the shower/bath. Was disappointed in the state of the room for a 4 star hotel.
The lobby has a nice seating area and decent coffee. I ate breakfast in the restaurant and the staff was friendly, the food was good but the buffet is overpriced for the selection.
