The hotel

Let the warm breeze of the Andaman Sea soothe your senses as you pad barefoot across manicured lawns and submerge your toes into cool sand at a tidal beach. Experiences at Vijitt Resort in Phuket are as delectable as you'd imagine with romance and relaxation waiting around every secluded corner. No smooth pebble has been left unturned when it comes to your comfort with guest villas providing a contemporary and calming influence on what is quintessentially the perfect Thai getaway. Once you've tired of lazing on your private balcony or terrace you'll discover that the Vijitt boasts a wide range of activities and from infinity pools to an excellent kids' club, there's more to Thailand than mangoes and sticky rice. Of course, if you do fancy indulging in a few Thai delicacies then look no further than the Vijitt's two restaurants which both offer the freshest local ingredients, as well as the chance to dine from the comfort of your villa. Completing your day with a visit to the straw-roofed salas at the spa will no doubt invigorate every one of your senses and after a cheeky tropical cocktail as the sun sets you can rest assured that tomorrow you get to do it all over again.

The resort is stunning. We had a group with us and they handled it perfectly. The hotel is beautiful and the staff is even more beautiful. We had a life changing experience at Vijitt. We will all be back.

The Vijit was everything a hotel should be. Calm, beautiful, and completely zen from the moment we arrived. It has that rare balance of being genuinely peaceful while still making you feel completely looked after. A special thank you to Maria, who was exceptional throughout. From keeping the iced Americanos coming to helping my son and I with absolutely everything we needed — including kindly helping bandage my always-clumsy son — she was warm, attentive, and just brilliant at what she does. A fantastic hotel, a real escape, and a place I’d happily recommend to anyone looking for somewhere special to properly switch off. Read less

The property itself is beautiful, with stunning views from the room that really make the stay feel special. We particularly loved the huge bath and outdoor shower—such a luxurious touch. The amenities were thoughtful too, with snacks and flip flops provided, which added to the overall comfort. Breakfast was a highlight of the stay. The staff there were warm, friendly, and genuinely engaging, bringing their personalities into their interactions with guests and creating a really welcoming atmosphere. In contrast, the reception team felt much more process-driven and less personable. One disappointing moment was receiving a call 5–10 minutes before check-out reminding us to leave, which felt unnecessary and slightly unwelcoming. The property itself is starting to show its age, but in a way that adds to its charm and sense of place rather than detracting from it. It feels authentic and well-situated for a relaxing escape. The only real downside is the location in terms of convenience as there are limited options nearby, with no easy access to places like 7/11, beach massages, or walkable roads around the hotel, which can make exploring a bit challenging without need for some form of transportation. Overall though, we had a fantastic time. It’s a charming, relaxing resort with beautiful surroundings, and we would happily come back. Read less

Absolutely beautiful hotel with such friendly staff. The villa was a little dated but this doesn’t detract from a fantastic holiday.
