The hotel

Designed for those who want to tap into the energy and excitement of Las Vegas but would prefer to enjoy it from an exclusive, non-gaming and smoke-free resort, Vdara is one of few hotels in Vegas not to house a casino. What you get instead is a cosmopolitan, all-suite hotel that feels blissfully private despite being in the heart of the action. Where is it

At the heart of The Strip, connected to Bellagio via pedestrian walkway and adjacent to Aria Resort & Casino. Transfer time from Las Vegas International airport: 12 minutes.

1,495 suites on 57 floors in 1 building. All with air-conditioning, fully-equipped kitchenettes, living area, separate walk-in shower and spa-style soaking tub, 50” LCD HD TV, in-room tablet for guest services, media hub (DVD players, Bluetooth speaker, and game consoles), WiFi access (included in resort fee), mini-bar, hairdryer, safe, iron, and ironing board. 

Studio Suites are approx. 582sq ft with either 1 king-size bed and pull out queen-size sleeper sofa in living area, or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Studio Parlor Suites have a living area separated by a divider with an additional TV, dining table for two, with 1 king-size bed and pull out queen-size sleeper sofa in living area, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Studio Fountain Suites are the same as Studio Suites, with views of the Bellagio fountains.

Stay Well Suites are designed with features to improve the rooms air quality, water quality, and sleeping environment. 

City Corner Suites are larger at approx. 811sq ft with cityscape or mountain views out of large corner windows. They offer a washer and dryer, full-size fridge and dining space for 4. There is 1 king-size bed and pull out queen-size sleeper sofa in living area, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Executive Corner Suites are the same as above, with an additional powder room. 

Vdara Suites are larger at approx. 811sq ft, with a separate living room area, additional powder room, washer and dryer, full-size fridge, and dining room for 4. These suites have 1 king-size bed and pull-out queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area, sleeping maximum 4 adults. 

Executive Corner Suites 

Panoramic Suites have 270 degree views with perfect views of ARIA and the surrounding area, featuring a separate entertainment area with living and dining space, and full-size kitchen. This suite offers 1 king-size bed and pull out queen-size sleeper sofa in living area, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

One Bedroom Penthouses are approx. 885sq ft are located on higher floors with full-size kitchens, living/dining room, additional powder room, invited guest check-in and a dedicated concierge line. These suites have 1 king-size bedrooms and pull out queen-size sleeper sofa in living area, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

$25 drinks at the bar, top price hotel room and i couldn’t even get credit (points) for a second room i booked. My email, my credit card, someone else gets the points. I’ll stay somewhere else

Check in I did on the app but to get the room keys the ipads had a problem reading the QR code because of the lighting in the area and I had to blow up… Read more
Booked Vdara for a weekend in October. Location isnt bad about a ten minute walk to the strip and easy connections through the Bellagio or Cosmopolitan. Had to walk outside to get to the Aria. Check in I did on the app but to get the room keys the ipads had a problem reading the QR code because of the lighting in the area and I had to blow up the QR code for it to read. Security was very good as they made everyone tap their room key before going to the elevators. We were offered a restore studio room for a couple dollar upgrade and i did so. However when we got in the room none of the features were really working. Had to fix the air filter to work and the ipad had its power cord missing so i had no way of using it. The room was fine other than the lamps above the bed were so badly broken they hung limp from the wall and could hit you in the head. Even the brightness of them was pretty week. Bed was very comfortable as it was a full memory foam matress but the lack of blankets kind of left me perplexed. Bathroom was fine with a deep tub. Shower water pressure and temperature was good. The kitchen was adequate as we just used the microwave, the fridge kept our drinks cool but had no way of adjusting the temp. Forget about ice as the machine down the hall was broken. Never got maid service even though I opted in and had to request towels. Thank god I brought my own soap and shampoo as the bottles were almost empty. The other biggest issue was that the view was good but the windows had three blackout and drape panels that had gaps that let in an ungodly amount of light first thing in the morning so dont plan on sleeping in if the light bothers you. This is the second MGM property I have stayed at in the last 4 months and will not bother trying the brand again. Stayed at a Caesars property about a month and half ago and it was much better. Beautiful property, nice room with a little wear and tear, attentive staff. The big problem for us was incredibly disrupted sleep caused by being next to the freeway and adjacent to construction.
