The hotel

Living the high life in more ways than one, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is every bit the VIP pad – especially when you’re up on the exclusive rooftop pool deck, soaking in the 360 degree views as you slink from your private cabana into the glimmering pool for a dip. With its balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows, your guestroom delivers its own jaw-dropping views of the Boulevard, hills, or LA skyline. And the views inside are just as dazzling, whether you’re eying up the sparkling cocktails at its French-inspired Lobby Lounge; the glamour of La Prairie Spa; the fine dining masterpieces of its French-American restaurant (under the helm of celebrated chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten); or the beautiful coastal Californian interiors by creative genius Pierre-Yves Rochon – who’s used muted greens and golds and delicate woods and whites to create an art deco garden vibe.

The cleanest, most beautiful and service-oriented hotel in Los Angeles. I stayed here for my partner's birthday and we had an amazing stay. So restful and relaxing that I forgot to post my review. Special thanks to Joyce Louie for always taking such great care of her guests.

We just finished our yearly visit to the Beverly Hills Waldorf Astoria. The staff was stellar in every aspect. The room was luxurious yet comfortable. A very special thanks to Jaime and Rochelle who made breakfast an elevated experience. Looking forward to next year’s visit John Pena

I have a complaint about being charged $69.12 on my checkout for my stay on April 20, 2026. I want to say your hotel was wonderful and I've received the best services I ever had at any hotel. I have a complaint about being charged $69.12 on my checkout for my stay on April 20, 2026. I want to say your hotel was wonderful and I've received the best services I ever had at any hotel. I've visited all 50 states in the USA and over 60 different countries around the world. This is the best hotel bar none. Everyone was outstanding and I received top tier services. However, a few days after I checked out I received a bill for $69.12 that was charged on my credit card. I called the front desk and spoke to "Joyce". I told her I did not consume any of the drinks or snacks that were in the fridge. She told me she would delete the charge. After two phone calls later she was onsite and did not take my phone calls. I felt like I was ghosted. It's not about the amount of $69.12 .it's the principle. I received the best services ever at any hotel I ever stayed at. But this incident got me thinking what kind of people you guys have working for you. When someone tells me something...I expect for it to get handled. I have not received a call back from "Joyce" at the front desk either. Best Regards, LH Read less

This will be a rather limited review as we only stayed for one night. For a hotel that is north of $1,000 a night, I expect more. The rooms need a bit of a refresh and feel rather dated - some may prefer the look of them. The service was rather spotty at times and almost felt aloof. This will be a rather limited review as we only stayed for one night. For a hotel that is north of $1,000 a night, I expect more. The rooms need a bit of a refresh and feel rather dated - some may prefer the look of them. The service was rather spotty at times and almost felt aloof. Check in was smooth and the lobby is spacious. We had arrived early and were not too bothered about the category of room but had been informed we had been upgraded on my status. However, we had to wait 4 hours for the room to be ready. Thankfully they held our luggage whilst we went out and explored. We did not make use of the house car but LA is expansive and you won’t reach far given the radius that the house car can go in. It felt rather foolish to be chauffeured in a Rolls-Royce Phantom to an IHOP so we passed on this. The rooftop food was satisfactory at best - the bagel and pancakes felt dry but the views over the surrounding areas was what makes this a pleasant spot to dine in. I briefly perused the mini bar before realising there is an additional charge to restock the mini bar, on top of the cost of the items which feels rather ridiculous. The location is well suited in Beverly Hills but it’s not prime - other properties such as the Four Seasons are on the doorstep to Rodeo Drive and so feel more suited. We did not check out facilities. Check out was smooth. Would I return? Probably not. I would be more inclined to give the Four Seasons a shot or even the Peninsula across the road. Read less
