According to the Dubai Economy & Tourism sms notification sent on 18 March to all Dubai mobile phone numbers. All hotels were ‘offering more flexible rates’ during the conflict. This was alluded to on their official web site. On check in I was promised my discount would be investigated. Only on check out I was told no discount available. Good luck profiteering from us locals trying to keep your hotel afloat in a crisis. Shame on you, where is the kids water park gone, and your breakfast was lousy. I’ll be amazed if you have not closed in 6 months time. Read less

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. We were made to wait an unacceptable 1 hour and 30 minutes just to get our room, with little communication or apology from the staff. The service throughout our stay was appalling—unresponsive, disorganized, and far below the standard you would expect from a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, the food was no better. The quality was very poor, and the breakfast in particular was one of the worst I’ve experienced at any hotel. Overall, this stay was a huge letdown and not worth the price or reputation of the Waldorf Astoria brand . I would never recommend this place to anyone and certainly will not be returning Read less

The hotel is always immaculate from the rooms to the restaurants, and offers a peaceful rest from the hustle and bustle of Dubai its self whilst only a short cab ride back into the city. The food in the restaurants is 1st class, our favourite being Social, which is always made extra special by Dara who really knows his way around the wine cellar. Our stays are always made extra special by Borzo who we have got to know well over the years, he’s attention to detail is exceptional thank you for always making us feel so welcome and ensuring we are well looked after. Also a big thank you to the Palm View restaurant staff, the lunch is always delicious. And thank you to Raghu who was also amazing. Until next time………. Read less
