The rooms are okay, but for the price you have so many other options in the area - choose another option. Had to request a fridge and it came a few hours later - so much for keeping my leftovers because I didn’t think to check that the fridge cabinet wasn’t empty. I know this is NYC, so I’m not expecting overly pleasant and friendly, but the… Read more

We were luckily upgraded to a corner room for our special occasion, so we could see more of NYC streets, the Hudson River, and other attractions from our window. There is a metro station just across the hotel, but you can walk basically to anywhere as many things are close. This time we went to a play in Broadway for the first time, it was wonderful! The hotel offers ticket for a Comedy club, entrances to a museum, and tickets for a city tour in a ferry. We were just able to use the last one, and it was very nice, better than expected actually! Also, they have F&B credits to use for each day. The room was spacious; the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff was friendly, especially Ms. Alexa that helped us with our stay, and lady concierge (with ginger hair). Whenever we go back to NY, we will consider this hotel. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Horrendous shower pressure

While the location of this Westin hotel is great, the shower pressure is horrendous. Imagine showering from a plant watering can. We called the front desk and an engineer was sent to the room to fix it. The shower head was replaced and the water pressure was only improved very slightly. The engineer said that this is the best it can be. So much… Read more

This is an older property that's genuinely in need of a refresh — worn carpet, a room door that wouldn't stay closed without a firm shove (a real safety concern), and no elevator key card security, which feels like a significant gap for a Times Square hotel. But the service? It slays. The security team in the lobby is warm and outgoing, and then… Read more
This is an older property that's genuinely in need of a refresh — worn carpet, a room door that wouldn't stay closed without a firm shove (a real safety concern), and no elevator key card security, which feels like a significant gap for a Times Square hotel. But the service? It slays. The security team in the lobby is warm and outgoing, and then there's Josh, the breakfast restaurant host. I was out of the hotel at 6 am, walking to Starbucks, when he spotted me on the street, stopped me, introduced himself, and asked about my stay. That's not hospitality training — that's just a genuinely good human. The new concierge, Alison, is a theater fangirl who looks like she'll be wonderful. The gym is small but well-equipped — Peloton riders, note that there are two bikes, with one tucked away in an odd little nook. The room was compact (standard for NYC) but smartly designed with functional storage for suitcases and toiletries. A few misses: no makeup mirror and no bathroom night light. The building needs work. The people make it worth it. Read less
