Where is it

Location in Patong’s southernmost corner. 10 minutes walk to Patong Beach and 25 minutes drive to Phuket Town. Transfer time from Phuket Airport: 50 minutes.

Fabulous hotel , we had a one bed suite near the club , very clean , great views , well appointed . The staff in the club were truly exceptional and the food was first class . We experienced the tree pod dining for a special occasion and it was amazing treat and the staff catered for our every need . Highly recommended.

This is not 5 star at all Id say 3 star is far more accurate. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY MOBILITY ISSUES it on a hill which is dangerous to navigate!! We stayed here for 5 days 4 nights. I wanted to leave right after checking in the lobby and reception area let it down so much. Its feels like that area is like Bagla rd at 10pm every night NOT A 5 STAR it has no air-conditioning at all it it open plan but it's boiling. Everyone arrives and checks out all day all night so area is always full of large groups suitcases and bags in particular all over main entrance steps. CATTLE MARKET NOT 5 STAR LUXURY AT ALL You do need a buggy to get around the LARGE complexits impossible to walk around in the heat and how sloped it is. The buggies have a roof and metal floors so more than 4 people it is a mirco wave in there (horrid) You have to wait these as well and you may or maynot fit in the buggy that arrives or most probably beginning to an indian family, which can take 15mins at a time so if you are leaving you room add in at least 15 to you time to leave. You have to wait outside your room in the heat (not 5 star) if they are full or beat you to it they just leave. Location is great though you can go in and experience everything in patong and nip out here for piece and it is quiet. We had a suite which was lovely very comfortable beds and pillows the best sleep we have had in Thailand. Suites are spacious and lots of storage. It's basically really nice self catering. Staff are not particularly friendly at all we felt unwelcome on arrival basically our whole stay. It's too big they don't have time to care and unfortunately it shows. Pools are lovely SMALL and only 2 unless you up grade to the prarang lounge (we did for 1 day) it was worth it to be out of the crowds and there are crowds huge groups of indian families staying here hence a full indian menu in all restaurants including breakfast. We saw staff reserving tables at breakfast for indian families they also have a building 7 that's on the map but never explained we questioned it and told its the not nice rooms but they all have sea views and close to everything pools restaurants and all on one level I think that's revered for the indian cohort. We ate at la gritta twice fabulous the chef can cook!! We booked afternoon tea in the tea tops it was not afternoon tea it was indian cakes with 1 very spicy puri (as the only savoury dish) no fans we stayed 15mins it made us ill we complained but the reception staff just smiled and that was that. We stayed in Thialand for 6weeks 6 hotels and this is the only place we would not return to. Read less

Had a really great stay at the Amari Hotel Phuket – the views were amazing and the whole place felt easy and relaxing. The staff were all lovely, and Pla in particular was super helpful and made a big difference to our trip. Would definitely stay here again.
