Where is it

Location in Patong’s southernmost corner. 10 minutes walk to Patong Beach and 25 minutes drive to Phuket Town. Transfer time from Phuket Airport: 50 minutes.

380 rooms and suites, located in the Ocean Front Wing or Ocean Suites Wing. Most offering a private balcony, air-conditioning, work space, satellite TV, telephone, complimentary WiFi, mini-bar*, tea/coffee maker, safe, hair-dryer, toiletries, towels, bathrobes and slippers. Superior Balcony are located in the Ocean Front Wing with 1 king-size bed or Hollywood twin beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults.

Half Board option: includes breakfast and lunch or dinner.

Full Board option: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

One Bedroom Suite Ocean / Ocean View Coral Lounge, each featuring a fully equipped kitchen, separate bedroom and living room, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults.

Two Bedroom Suite Ocean Coral Lounge are suitable for families, with a master bedroom with a king-size bed, second bedroom with two twin-size beds, a kitchen and separate living area, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 1 child or 5 adults.

We stayed at Amari Phuket with a group of girlfriends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The hotel is very well located, with beautiful views over Patong Bay and right next to Patong Beach. Although all the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach is just on the doorstep, the hotel is situated up on a hill, making it a wonderful oasis and allowing you to choose whether you want a more relaxed or an action packed day. Our villa had breathtaking views and was super spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable, including a living room and a kitchenette. The hotel has two pools, one of which is reserved for adults only - heaven for those who are visiting without children. The restaurants serve great food, both à la carte and buffet. We had a Japanese themed buffet during our stay and met the chef who was on hand to talk us through the dishes - great experience! A girls holiday wouldn’t be complete without plenty of cocktails and those didn’t disappoint either! Finally, the team at Amari. Warm, genuinely happy to serve and always making sure our stay was comfortable and memorable. We had an incredible experience and can’t thank the Amari team enough. I stayed at the Amari with my wife and two kids. It was our first time in Phuket and we had not really done our research. It all felt a bit busy, crowded and stressful until we arrived at the Amari. Lets start with the location, it is perfect! It is slightly outside of Patong so you can easily go into crazy lovely Patong and quickly retreat when the kids get tired. I think it must be the only resort with a private beach on Patong and you really get stunning views and sunsets of the bay.. Priceless memories! We booked our stay a bit last minute so had to stay in different rooms, but the staff made that transition seamless for us. So a general comment on the rooms and the rest of the hotel, it is clean and well maintained. We tried the residence up on top. These rooms are all new and super quiete and comfortable with stunning views. We also enjoyed access to the coral lounge breakfast. I still dream of the delicious a la carte breakfast and the friendly staff that memorised our preferences! They really made it easy for us with our two small kids. We then stayed in some of the older rooms on the first row to the beach. I actually preferred that room. You could feel thatbit had been remodelled and it was quite spacious.. when staying with small kids it's just more convenient. Closer to the restaurant, so the baby monitor had good reach (don't judge me), so we could have a few dates on evenings where we did not use the babysitter service (ask for Sari, she is amazing). Now to finish, I have to mention the staff. They were all super friendly, you could feel that they liked working there.. that is the feeling I got at least, and they were so nice to us even though we were always leaving a messy trail with our kids.. Thai people tend to be very nice, especially with kids, and that was just amplified at the Amari - not to mention the kids club.. our 5 year old is still talking about it. So thank you very much to Mr. Jan, the resort manager, Jibcy and Nook who catered at our every need. We really loved our stay and will be coming back! Read less
