We had the joyful experience of staying at Bequia Beach Hotel for our honeymoon this month and it was simply wonderful!!! Great room, great food, fantastic staff and service...everything was just right. Our room looked out on the beach and it was such a treat to fall asleep each night to the sounds of the ocean. The buffet breakfast was plentiful & delicious and the dinners were scrumptious. I have only compliments for all of the staff. The transportation details from Philadelphia to Bequia (and the return trip) were handled easily and well...easy connections to & from the airport in St. Vincents and the ferry and the hotel. We relaxed the entire time and felt so pampered and cared for. We both got massages at the spa and they were wonderful!!! Best massage ever! We hope to return to this beautiful place next year and bring more of our family with us! Read less

My husband and I are just back from an absolutely amazing 8 night stay at The Rock Villa, which is Bequia Beach Hotels new all suite adult only boutique villa-hotel and the word my husband and I used the most was WOW! We booked last minute through our trusted tour operator and so didn’t have much time to do our (me) usual endless homework on resorts and hotels and hand on heart it was the best holiday we have ever had. We flew into Barbados and got the little domestic flight to Bequia (45 mins), where we were met by the lovely Aoife (manager of The Rock Villa, Grenadine Hills and Sands Bar) then it was 10 mins transfer of easy informative chatter to The Villa. The Villa includes a butler and a chef who made our stay the holiday of a lifetime and very special as we were both celebrating our 60th birthdays. We called our ladies the 4 A’s, so a big shout out to Aoife, a very hands on manager who appeared daily magically after we had finished our breakfast, to check everything was ok and give lots of advice on where to go, what to see and where to go. Thank you Aoife, we loved our little morning catch ups. Asha, the Villas butler who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble for this lovely lady, who was there from morning till night to make our stay a seamless luxury experience, from arranging island tours, taxis, restaurants bookings, in-villa dining and more importantly knowing when it was cocktail time or sparkling wine time! Also, huge thanks to Ariel and Alyssa, the villas chefs who made every breakfast and dinner, afternoon delights and daily homemade cakes a culinary delight. We miss you every day! Thank you’s aside The Rock Villa is in a stunning setting perched above Friendship Bay beach, a beautiful 10 minute walk along the beach, passing by Sands Bar if you can, takes you to the beautiful Bequia Beach Hotel where you can use all the amenities or Asha will get you a taxi if you prefer. The Villa for us was our piece of paradise so we struggled to drag ourselves away from everything the Villa had to offer from multiple terraces and lounges to relax and escape from the sun if you so choose, fully stocked fridge for daily needs, infinity pool, cinema room and not to mention our stunning suite with uninterrupted views from every window of the crystal blue sea and Friendship Bay. We have been truly spoilt by everything the hotel, villa and Bequia had to offer. The Bequia people are an absolute delight. Finally, a must is to book one of the hotels organised trips on their beautiful spectacular new boat, Sandy Toes. The guys are brilliant. We took the trip to Mustique (the most chocolate box place we have ever been), did an island taxi tour which was amazing and then lunch at the famous Basils Bar (didn’t see any celebs tho). Also, did the trip to Tobago Cays for snorkelling, sunbathing and lunch. A trip to the beautiful Port Elizabeth would not be complete without a drink or 2 and lunch or dinner, if you have time at the fabulous Jacks Bar. Thank you to everyone who we were lucky enough to meet and chat with. We loved you all and we will definitely be back. Read less
