Friendly service. Lots of food options. Large rooms. Nice location as it is walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Clean notes and it is connected to the Orlando Convention Center

Manager Wendy is incompetent and unable to deal with a complaint regarding the “hotel” shuttle That did not arrive. Refused any help at all and point blank denied the shuttle was the hotels. It’s all over their website!

12 times in Florida - Villas and hotels. 3rd time in Idrive - 2 times prior to this at Rosen inn plaza. Much easier as just the three of us now. This hotel is very busy but it’s big enough not to feel cramped. The public areas were immaculate. The rooms are slightly dated but very clean, big and comfortable. The pool felt busy during peak times but you were always able to get a seat and the pool bar served good food. The gym was dated but had enough kit for a sweat on. The coffee shop, breakfast buffet and on site shop were comfortable but pricey. Some staff were happy and smiley others were miserable as sin - same as everywhere. 10 mins in LYFT to universal and 20 to Disney. Overall I’d have no problem coming back to this hotel. I felt safe and comfortable and although it’s a 20 minute stroll to the better locations (pointe) I’d pick this over other Rosens on Idrive. This is a business / conference hotel so there are big groups of travellers together. You have to pay a bond when you check in - a week later and I have not had it back yet so just be aware of that as it was not advertised through our agent. We paid $250 Read less

This is a great hotel for sleep if you need to access the convention center on and off. The walking distance and aero bridge connection to the conference zones makes it an easy-peasy walk. The beds are decent and cozy. The bathroom definitely needs loads of upgrading. The door wouldn't close, warm water wouldn't come, and the showers would leak.… Read more

Nothing of any value is free at The Rosen Center Orlando $$$. The Rosen Center had packed in multiple large conferences for the whole weekend (3 in the main concourse alone) so we were tripping over each other and the noise level at times were near deafening. Regardless of knowing this, the self-parking area access still only had a single lane in and out (with 1 gate attendant slowly talking to each car). Naturally with 3X conference goers there were exceedingly long lines (forcing any late conference goers to have to pay for valet $). The garage parking spots were also super tight. They randomly changed our smaller meeting rooms around, which added to the confusion, since we already had our programs and the doors locked once inside. The elevators also were not conveniently located (a team member was on cruches) and their signage was poor. I ended up having to walk the full concourse repeatedly and taking the stairs. Access for exhibitors was not conveniently setup at all and inside security seemed non-existent. Our "booth" consisted of a single folding table and grey tablecloth with 2 chairs located on the side of the main concourse hallway (but we were still charged hundreds of dollars $). Also another exhibitor table was initially setup directly in front of us but they later moved. We had called ahead and asked specifically about bringing our own booth table to setup our displays and several easels (since you can't touch their walls). I was assured there was plenty of space behind our main table and there'd be no problems. This was grossly untrue as our location was between 2 pillars with other obstructions behind it (i.e. a loveseat which they refused to relocate). Instead we had to precariously setup our displays on top of the loveseat using our crates and easel boxes using our own tablecloths. We would cover our "booth" when we left it. We went for a quick lunch at Lagaugin buffet where an average salad bar for 2 sets you back ~$60. When we returned we were shocked to find several teens from another conferences had dug apart our display and were now lounging in our "booth's love seat, crushing our display items underfoot $ (i.e. no security/ boundaries). The Rosen Center also charges for WiFi $ and for power $ so we had to bring portable battery rechargers $ and extra cables, and use our phones as hotspots daily $. Not having a signal was difficult also for the other conference goers. The parking situation was difficult and loading was very frustrating. We'd asked multiple times and were consistently advised that exhibiters were to use the back entrance double-glass doors to load/unload and then walk the full concourse to get to the main ballroom. This info was consistently received from calling the Rosen Center, talking to the valets, and again confirmed by the garage parking gate attendant. However, when we were leaving after we'd dragged all our exhibit crates, table and items to these back doors, just as my spouse arrived with our vehicle from the covered parking garage he was rudely told you can't load at here per policy! This was the only time we'd seen any security who then abruptly threatened "final warning / move on/ go park further away and load down there". The only thing parked under the exit overhang was their security golf cart, with plenty of room to load around it. But now this security policy that no staffer knew about prior, nor anyone else had followed is asserted on two exhausted patrons with all their exhibit crates, easels, tables, bags, boxes, chocolates, etc. So at the hottest time of day we were forced (under threats) to drag our items even further away, to our vehicle in scorching 102 degree FL sun. By the time we'd finished dragging and reloading everything we were both completely drenched and our stuff was melting! A TOTAL HOT MESS $$$ We then began our several hours drive back home, exceedingly frustrated and disgusted by the Rosen Center's blatant greed, inconvenient layout, mismanagement, and terrible treatment of paying $$$$ patrons.
