A decent choice if you are looking for a simple hotel close to Broadway.
Overall we had a positive stay - the location was the perfect walkable distance to where we wanted to be but enough away to be out of the crowds. Rooms were large, clean and had everything you might need - smart TV, mini fridge to store your drinks and snacks, hair dryer, desk space, suitcase stand, luggage storage at check out, room service, Starbucks on site etc.
The reason for not giving 5 stars is because when we checked in, the young girl on the front desk was blunt and slightly rude. No service with a smile, no extra information or “enjoy your stay”. We managed to be polite and smiley after a long day of travel so anything would have been nice. Other staff were more welcoming so it’s a shame that was our first impression.
Secondly, was the air con in the room. When we had this turned off, it would blast out a very loud, strange, squeaky, creaky noise. Unfortunately this happened early hours in the morning which causes a bit of a scare when it’s pitch black and you’re in an unknown place. It was easily resolved by turning the air con back on so we just left this on the whole time (therefore a bit cold).
Overall, a good stay for what we wanted and we would stay again if we were in the area. A few little bits to update or improve but not totally off putting :-)
