There are over 10 natural springs located just over an hour away from Downtown Orlando offering swimming, paddle boarding, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and cool off away from the tourists and the parks. A perfect activity for some relaxation, at an affordable price.
The town that Disney built, Celebration was inspired by American towns from the early 1900's, and is full of parks, playgrounds and a farmers market every Sunday. It's free to visit, so even if you just fancy a wander round it's a great option for a rest day from the parks, and from spending!
The equivalent to Disney Springs, Universal's CityWalk offers family entertainment, a huge range of restaurants, and shopping galore - all with free entry. There's always great live music to enjoy, and you'll feel immersed into the Universal atmosphere immediately. The parking is free after 6pm too, it's the place to be!
Old Town recreates the look and feel of a classic Florida Town, just minutes from Walt Disney World - and there's a whole host of entertainment and attractions to enjoy. Weekly events such as classic car shows and live music are free to enjoy, and there are numerous rides to enjoy at an affodable cost. Fun Spot is next door too, if you fancy the thrills of big rides without the big price tag.

Buffets can be a great way to get value for money. Cici's Pizza is famous for it's all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta at low prices, and whilst some of the ones at the Disney or Universal hotels might be slightly more money, you get a lot for your buck!
Whilst in the shopping malls or the parks, if you're looking to save the pennies at lunch then head for the food court rather than sit down restaurants. Not only do they provide a huge variety of options, they are significantly less expensive.
