The hotel

If your dream holiday involves waking up in a designer townhouse, strolling down to a sugar-white beach, and sipping something cold on your private rooftop terrace, then Garden Grove is calling your name. These swanky townhouses are where sleek European style meets laid-back Caribbean cool. Think light, airy spaces, top-notch finishes, and partial sea views that deserve their own postcard. Oh, and did we mention the wet bar on the roof terrace? Yep, sundowners just got an upgrade. But it’s not just about good looks - Garden Grove is your island basecamp, the kind of place that feels like home (but with better weather and a rooftop). You’re just minutes from Holetown’s buzz, Royal Westmoreland’s golf greens, and the legendary Lone Star restaurant. Want to explore further? We recommend hiring a car - there’s complimentary parking for guests, so you can hit the road and discover Barbados at your own pace.

The marketing company and photographer did a great job! However, descriptions and photos are deceptive! The properties are nothing like the photos! The odor was so bad in the first property they had assigned us to that I became ill. We were moved to a second property, which also had an odor, but we were able to "air" it out with the air conditioner on high for two days. All properties are a far cry from being handicap accessible, are not up to code by any of American standards, and certainly not safe for young children or people over 50. We were horribly disappointed! We spent over $3200 (US) for our accommodations for six nights feeling terribly deceived. The properties located on either side of the Grove properties are in shambles! So disappointing! We will never return to Barbados because of this experience!! Read less
